Want to take nice photos in Pench during your thrilling ride? I’ve got some nice tips that can help you take the most amazing photos inside this park. National Parks are all natural and the lighting, movement of animals, and timing can change at any time. Sometimes even experienced photographers cannot take good photos, but today I will tell you some tricks with the help of which you will be able to take good photos.

1. Have A Nice Camera

It doesn’t mean that you should buy a costly camera. This simply means that you should have a camera with a fast shutter speed, and a telephoto Lens (200-400mm). A fast shutter speed is required because wildlife loves fast so you need to keep up. DSLRs or mirrorless cameras with good autofocus will be okay for this. Now, if you want close-up shots then cameras with telephoto Lenses (200-400mm) are a must so that you can take nice photos even from a distance.

2. Have Equipment

Don’t go there for photography without a tripod, extra batteries, and a memory card. These are a must. Safaris can get bumpy, and holding a heavy camera for hours is tough, having a tripod or monopod would ease up your task. For a long safari, having extra batteries is essential, who knows you might catch a tiger near the end of your safari ride.

3. Try To Understand the Light

Before your safari, try to take pictures in natural lighting and brush up your skills. Bonus point: The best times to capture wildlife are during early morning and late afternoon safaris.  The light is softer in these times so you can take nice pictures.

4. Have Patience

If you have patience then you can surely take some nice pictures. Wildlife photography is about waiting. Animals might take some time to show up or it might take a while for the perfect moment to happen. Have patience, and observe how animals move, where they look, and what they’re about to do. Keep your cameras ready to take the perfect shot. Don’t think that if animals are farther then you cannot take a nice shot. Always keep your cameras ready, you might find a tiger chasing a deer anytime inside Pench National Park.

5. Brush Up Your Skills

Camera settings can feel tricky but you should pay attention to these things. First, you’ll need a fast shutter speed for wildlife photography. Most animals are moving especially when animals are running or birds are flying. Second, A wide aperture is essential when taking photos so that the background gets blurred and the pictures of animals stand out. Third, to avoid blurry shots in low lighting, increase your ISO. Do practice because going too high can increase the amount of noise.
